CBD and Chronic Pain: Catherine's Story

CBD and Chronic Pain: Catherine's Story

CBD works wonders. While many people use cannabidiol as a simple sleep-aid or as a way to relieve sore muscles, others have found that its uses go far beyond what they originally expected. We’re talking an elimination of anxiety, arthritic fingers regaining motion, and even reduced epileptic seizures. It’s no exaggeration to say that CBD is changing lives and rocking worlds.

Working in the CBD industry, we at Farmer & Chemist hear a lot of these success stories. One such story is from Catherine, a master pianist and musician that uses CBD to combat arthritis and chronic pain.

As she says, “The only thing that I’ve had is a positive result: less pain, less stiffness, increased flexibility. I’m not young, but I feel like I can move the way I did 10 or 15 years ago when the product is in my system. And that for me is huge!”

Catherine sat down with Farmer & Chemist to discuss her journey on our podcast, You, Me, & CBD. If you haven’t checked out the podcast, what are you waiting for!? You, Me, & CBD is an entertaining and informative way to sit back and learn more  about both CBD and Farmer & Chemist. Each informative episode is about 20 minutes, so it’s perfect for a commute or quick jog around the neighborhood.

You can find You, Me, & CBD on your preferred podcast app, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Audible.

Catherine’s Story

“I feel so strongly that CBD, particularly from Farmer & Chemist, has changed my life.

“A bit of background: I have two knee replacements, a hip, my lower back is fused, and I’m currently trying to not have neck surgery that would fuse part of my cervical spine. I have been arthritic throughout my body for 30 years. So I have been on Gabapentin for about three years.

"I have tried a couple of CBD products from different places before. As everybody knows, it’s very expensive, and I kept thinking, ‘When is it going to work?’ Then I tried Farmer & Chemist. The first thing I did was try some capsules, and I’ve ended up with the All is Gel with curcumin. They work for me.

“Since I started the gel caps, the pain down my arm from the neck is almost gone and I have eliminated part of the medications that I take. And I honestly can’t believe it because I didn’t think I could manage without doing something about the spine, because it hurts so bad! Yeah, it hurts. But I’m functional, I’m able to do things!

“I have a couple of other things that I’m using as well. I’m using Hot Spot. I keep it in the car because sometimes the stabbing pain in my knuckles is just awful, and I have that right in the car so I can rub it in at a stop light. Thats a very portable thing, and I love that.

“I also use the Problem Salved. I have particular problems with my hands and my fingers: they hurt all the time and they’re also very, very stiff. As I sit and rub the Problem Salved into my hands, within ten minutes the pain has subsided to the place where I’m not aware of it now.

“I am so grateful. I don’t know what else to say, because in truth, it has changed my life for the better.”
